The flat has its own large garden (50m2), two balconies and ample private parking (40m2) and is the perfect location to enjoy the stunning views across the valley after a day shopping in Lugano or exploring the towns on Lake Como using the fabulous routes. You are also in the right place for water sports such as sailing, surfing, canoeing and water skiing. In addition, the area offers many opportunities for mountain bikers, cyclists, (mountain) hikers and golfers.
The flat offers a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains of Val d'Intelvi with beautiful beech and chestnut forests, where you can easily meet deer, roe deer and other numerous animal species that inhabit these mountains.

The flat is located a short distance from the city centre of Laino, which can be reached on foot in a few minutes. Lake Como
Lake Como is located in the Lombardy region. Although the mountainous Lake Como is smaller than Lake Garda and Lake Maggiore, it still has the longest shoreline.
The lake has the shape of an inverted letter Y. The western arm has the most spectacular coastline and is therefore the most touristic. The northern shores are rougher and less touristy.
In general, Lake Como attracts a more classy and exclusive crowd than the other well-known lakes such as Lake Garda and Lake Maggiore . Lake Como has only one island: Isola Comacina. An island with a rich history and one of the most important archaeological sites in northern Italy. Lenno is a quiet village in a bay of Lake Como . Lenno has a popular public beach and archaeological excavations from the Roman era of Isola Comacina.

Picturesque Argegno enjoys a beautiful location, less than 15 minutes from our apartment in Laino, and is situated at the entrance of the Valle d'Intelvi. The small village is split into two parts by the mouth of the Telo and connected by a beautiful old stone bridge. You can take a cable car to the plateau of Piagra. From here you have a view at an altitude of 880 meters on Lake Como and the surrounding area
The pleasant town of Menaggio can be counted as one of the most touristic places on Lake Como. You'll find it on the western shore of the lake, among the foothills of the Swiss Alps where the Sanagra River flows into Lake Como.

Lake Lugano is a lake in southeastern Switzerland, on the border between Switzerland and Italy. The lake bears the name of the largest city on its shores, Lugano.

Lake Lugano (called Lago di Lugano or Ceresio in Italian) has been a popular holiday destination among both Italy and Switzerland-goers for years. The lake has an Italian part and a Swiss part, but the differences are small. The largest, Swiss piece is located in the Italian-speaking canton of Ticino in southern Switzerland, where the Swiss alpine atmosphere mixes with the typical Italian flair, picturesque alleys and Romanesque churches. Mountain biking & cycling
You can enjoy mountain biking in and around Lake Como. Mountain bikers can fully enjoy the many mountain bike trails around the lake. The routes come in different categories, from easy and short, to long distances and hard tours.
Golf Club Lanzo
The Lanzo Golf Club was founded in 1962 by the great architect Donald Harradine. The course is at an altitude of 1,000 meters and the 9-hole course winds through the woods and clearings of the Pian delle Noci with views of the valley and surrounding mountains.
At Golf Lanzo there is a calm and relaxed atmosphere that guides the players along the gentle slopes of 'Pian delle Noci'.
The recently renovated ClubHouse offers a pleasant welcome for a break after 9 holes, for an afternoon Bridge or for a dinner with typical regional dishes. On the large terrace you can eat outside with a view of the golf course.
